Beau Bellow, Co-Founder

Beau Bellow is a founding partner of Boomerang Interests. Since 2010, Beau has been a Senior Vice President at JLL, a Fortune 500, global provider of real estate services. Beau’s primary focus at JLL is tenant representation with an emphasis on identifying and analyzing optimal deal structures. During his time at JLL, Beau has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion including headquarter relocations, build-to-suits, office dispositions, lease renewals/restructures, and new lease transactions. Over the course of his career he has worked with several Fortune 500 companies including, Amazon, ExxonMobil, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and United Airlines.

Prior to joining JLL, Beau was a Vice President at The Lionstone Group, a Houston-based private equity company where he focused on national office acquisitions on behalf of a $1.5 billion fund. While at Lionstone his responsibilities included investment origination, due diligence, transaction analysis and structuring. Beau began his career as a financial analyst/broker at The Staubach Company.

Beau received his B.B.A. in Finance from Texas A&M University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University.

Beau is a native Texan – he was born and raised in Houston where he attended Second Baptist High School. His greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Rory, and three children, Collins, Spencer and Tripp. Together they love being with family and friends especially when it involves spending time in their favorite places…South Texas, the Georgia coast, and the North Carolina High Country. Beau’s favorite activities include hunting, golfing, reading, running, sports and traveling.

Andy Cyrus, Co-Founder

Andy Cyrus is a founding partner of Boomerang Interests. Since 2013, Andy has been a Managing Partner at KAC Holdings, a Houston-based private investment firm that invests throughout the capital structure in a variety of asset classes and industries, including energy, finance/insurance, healthcare, infrastructure, real estate and venture capital. Andy’s responsibilities include investment origination, due diligence, transaction analysis, structuring and execution and portfolio company monitoring.

Prior to co-founding KAC Holdings, Andy was an associate in the natural resources investment banking group at Barclays Capital. At Barclays, Andy provided strategic and corporate advisory and capital markets services to public and private companies operating in the exploration and production, midstream and oilfield services segments of the oil and gas industry. Andy began his career at Andrews Kurth in 2007, where he was a member of the corporate/securities group and represented public and private companies in connection with capital markets and merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions.

Andy received his B.B.A. in Finance from Southern Methodist University and his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center.

Andy is a native Texan – he was born in Fort Worth, raised in Austin and has called Houston home since 2004. Andy’s greatest joy is spending time with his wife, Kourtney, and their three sons, which includes coaching their baseball, basketball, flag football and soccer teams. In addition, he enjoys cooking, fishing, golfing, hunting, photography, reading, running, sports and traveling.

Bart Barrett, Wood Partners - Managing DirectoR

Bart Barrett is the managing director of Wood Partners’ Houston and Austin offices and is responsible for overseeing the development, design and financing of construction in the State of Texas. Since joining Wood Partners in 2014, Bart has developed over 3,500 multifamily units and $667 million in capitalization. Prior to joining Wood Partners, Bart was a managing director at Alliance Residential where he was instrumental in developing more than 3,400 housing units with a capitalization of more than $500 million. Before he joined Alliance in 2011, Barrett was a finance and development associate at The Morgan Group. Bart began his real estate career at Apartment Realty Advisors, where he served as a lead analyst and participated in the transaction of more than $900 million and 19,500 units in multifamily sales in Houston, Austin and San Antonio.

 

Scott Moorad, Hillebrand - COO North America

Scott is the North America COO of Hillebrand, an international logistics company specializing in beer, wine and distilled spirits with more than 175 years of experience. Scott currently oversees Hillebrand’s network of ambient and temperature-controlled warehouse facilities throughout North America. Prior to joining Hillebrand, Scott owned and ran Cirrus Business Consulting, a global executive and strategic consulting firm for 13 years. Scott is an entrepreneur at heart and founded beverage industry software company AnotherRound Apps (ARA) which was acquired by Satellite Logistics Group before the merger with Hillebrand in 2013.

 

luis solis, Consultant - Construction Manager

Luis Solis is a 37-year veteran of the food business.  Most of his career was spent at Sysco Foods where he served in a myriad of roles in operations, facilities, and construction.  He has a deep understanding of the food industry and a lifetime of experience and expertise in designing and constructing cold storage facilities.
